Planted in the Northern Cape (Irrigation)

The first variety from our program accepted for the irrigation area was SSG 585 in 2006. Evaluation of varieties from Europe is still an integral part of the program in this area and Cocktail, an introduction from the Syngenta Seeds (UK), is now an approved malting variety for this area.

All our commercial varieties are fully approved by SAB Ltd. for brewing.
